Executive Chef
Chef Joel Casillas
Chef Casillas is the executive chef at Le Mans Kitchen. He was born in Jalpa, a small town in the Mexican state of Zacatecas. At the age of five, he moved the United States, and as a teen he attended Sarasota High School. Cooking has always been in his blood. His father and two uncles are professional chefs and helped inspire his own culinary passions.
Over Chef Casillas’s accomplished career, he has drawn on his heritage to create culinary inspirations that gather people around the table to enjoy the simple pleasures of food and family.
Chef Casillas spent eight years honing his culinary skills at the Oaks Country Club, where he worked his way from line chef to sous chef. Craving a concept of his own, he and his business partner put his talent on the road and opened a food truck. Although that was an invaluable experience, Chef Casillas eventually realized the camaraderie of the traditional kitchen was where he belonged.
Chef Casillas lives in North Port with his wife, Lucero, and two daughters, Camila and Carolina. He has been part of the Le Mans Kitchen family since October 2023 and has helped perfect the recipe for success Ford customers enjoy today.
